Tribe check

A form of tribalism. This occurs when an individual questions what tribe you belong to, as a way of determining your compatibility with their tribe. If the tribes aren't compatible, both parties may be subject to awkwardness, unease, and even confrontation.

*watching football with coworkers*
Douchey coworker: "so, new guy, what's your team?"
New guy: "...don't really appreciate you tribe checking me in front of everyone like that dude"

peak check

A peak check is when a player checks another players profile to see what their highest ever rank was

This can then be used as a trump card in any argument given that your peak is higher than the other players

Person one losing and argument:"You think you are better than me? Peak check"

Person two having no way to recover as getting humiliated by a peak check is a fate worse than death that means a lot to everyone in the conversation: ...
