A Denial Rebound is the person that someone who is non-straight dates in an attempt to push away from homosexuality.

For example: Alexandra finally figured out she's a lesbian, but she's in denial about it because she grew up with strict Mormon beliefs. She starts dating Phillip in hope that she'll eventually grow to love him and the homosexuality will go away. Later she accepts herself as a lesbian and breaks up with Phillip. Phillip is now her denial rebound.

A person who seeks to initiate a romantic or sexual relationship with someone who has recently ended a relationship, typically preying on their emotional vulnerability.
