spec up

(specification up). Spec up is the term used when comparing two different devices with different specifications. It implies that one item is subpar and shadowed by the brilliance of the latter . It could also be used for non electronic devices. See examples for more info.

A shorter version of Poverty-spec, i.e. the base model of a car that doesn't have any optional extras equipped - the cheapest of the range.

Owners of pov spec cars typically buy into brands due to trends and hype for bragging rights.

OMG you drive a 10 year old car, ew! I have the latest Audi.

... Yeah but it's Pov Spec.
