In Brazil the term "gringo" (in portuguese) usually refers to people from Argentina. In Brazil Americans are mostly called just "Americanos" or "Norte-Americanos" rather than "Gringos" (which is more used by people in memes usually refering to English Speakers in general) or "Estadunidense" (considered by many people an ugly and long term)
