pulling an astro

a type of tantrum or emotional distress, due to the inability to accept experiences that do not go as initially anticipated.

popularized by 14 year old rapper contestant "Astro" in the american television-hit contest show "X-Factor", when the teen lashed out after finding out he had to perform to remain in the show.

example 1:

Astro: "If you want to put me in the bottom two, I don't want to perform for people who don't want me here."

Bob: " oh shit, that dude is pulling an astro."

example 2:

Bob: "this sucks, i don't want to play monopoly with you anymore, you bought all the damn rich lanes."

Lisa: "Fuck you Bob, go cry and pull an astro out your ass."
