As a Noun:

(adj.): When a person either (1) takes a ridiculously long time to respond to a text message due to other distractions or (2) ignores his or her surroundings because he/she is too focused on texting. These seemingly conflicting meanings can never occur simultaneously.

Ex 1)
You: Hey!
Sheila: Hey, dude.

n. condition or situation where after texting another for hours and all topics have been thoroughly explored, no further texts, acronyms, emoticons, etc. are possible.

After text partner divulges unimaginable news to which one cannot respond. Akin to checkmate in chess.

I texted Matt for six hours last night, til we had nothing left to say. I was like textmate! I'm going to bed.

to say or read (something) aloud for another person to text to someone.

My wife was driving, so she would textate to me what she wanted sent.

Textatery

The person sending a text on behalf of someone else.

Since, in California, it is illegal to send text messages while driving, you need a Textatery. It is kind of like a secretary who takes dictation, except they send texts.

Example: While I was driving home I needed to send a text, so I had to dictate the message to my Textetary.
