When a person or persons attempt to meet up with a group of people at a pre-determined location and arrive to find the group has relocated without giving notice there was a change in plans

Nate went to pick us up at our house to give us a ride downtown, but we didn't feel like waiting so we Saundered him and just drove ourselves.

Usually used in the past tense as an adjective. State of being embarassed by your own actions, perhaps by a sly plan that backfired, hoisted by your own petard.
Used in Northern Ireland. Not to be confused with the Sxcttish Scunnert
