a person who demonstrates douchebaggery while proudly ordering "edemame" (visualize pinky out sipping his "apple-tini"), all while flawlessly executing proper chopstick technique.

Get the SPRUCHE mug.Sorachet is one of the most reliable people you will ever meet. He’s fiercely loyal to those close to him. He’s the one you turn to when you need advice, or just someone to lend an ear. He’s the get-shit-done one at work, but not nailed to the desk. He’s up for adventure, especially in the outdoors. Great for bear hugs.

Get the souchea mug.A soul wrapped in sorrow and magic; an ethereal force of emotion, beauty, and melancholia. “Sorchèlia” is used to describe a person, moment, or feeling that is dark yet graceful, heavy yet healing—like poetry that cries quietly.
Sorchèlia is a neologism coined by me, Hemangi Ghatak. It’s inspired by a blend of Latin, Italian, and poetic English—a word born from emotion rather than rules. The ‘Sor’ echoes sorrow and fate, the ‘chè’ softens it with elegance, and the ‘lia’ gives it a lyrical, almost divine ending. It’s a word for beauty touched by melancholy.
Basically:
“Sor” = like sorrow or Latin sors (fate)
“chè” = gives a soft, romantic tone (like in French/Italian)
“lia” = common in elegant names (Cecilia, Ophelia), gives it a lyrical, feminine finish.
It’s my original word, with roots in Latin, Italian, and poetic English—but it ultimately belongs to the emotional language of my soul.
