RHS is known for dumbasses smoking in the bathroom and an abundance of portables that smell of piss and shit. The school has the dumbest rules in the county, yet no one cares to follow them. Was a bomb ass school until the 10-11 year when little prep takeoffs loaded the school. The school is considered to be one of the better schools in the area, but it is only because the I.B. kids are there. The word takeoff originated here. Deffinetly, the party school of Clay County and most drama filled.

Most would say that its racial balance is "unhealthy," which is totally true when you take your first gander at the staggering white majority. The town values its money dearly, and if you don't believe me, look at the bank, next to the bank, next to the bank. The public and private school systems are phenomenal, notably Ridgefield High School, Saint Mary's School, and East Ridge Middle School. The town is subtly historic, with 1700's era colonials lining the town's main street. This town is fairly cultured, with a large number of musicians and artists, along with the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum. Overall, it is an expensive but great place to live and grow up in, although you might have a secluded upbringing as a child. On a downside, however, the drug consumption and dealing rate is high, mostly because of the bored, rich teenagers with time to kill.

The police officer was fired because she didn't do anything about the situation, so the administration had to take care of it. 3 Major Gangs of Atlanta have parts in the school, and fights break out daily. In 2015, 2 students got so many silent lunches and detentions, they would have to stay for an entire school year to make up for them. The Music Program is fantastic because of the Great teachers pulled in since the re-staffing of music teachers in 1996 for Band and Chorus and in 2014 for the Orchestra. During the Last week of school during the first semester, a teacher said, "F*** it, I'm out!", and stormed out of the classroom.
