Pollotarian

*A person looking for a fancy name for their meat restricted diet despite knowing that 99% of people don't have a clue wtf a Pollotarian is & have to explain afterwards.
An easier alternative is to tell a person you only eat chicken/birds & no other meats.

**Can also be a stepping stone to vegetarianism as the individual restricts their meat-intake & slowly over a period of time cuts all meat forms out.

John: i'm sorry what?
Tara: Pollotarian, i don't eat any meats but birds (smug look)

A pollotarian (aka a pollovegetarian or a pollo-vegetarian) is someone who will not eat the flesh of any red meat mammals, but does include chicken, turkey and other poultry. They may or may not also exclude fish, seafood or products like eggs and dairy from their diet. Reasons for exclusion vary from taste preference to ethical issues.

A person who eats poultry, but no other animal meats or byproducts (including fish).

Poultrarian

A poultrarian is a person whose diet consists of vegetarian fare and select cuts of chicken and turkey, typically lean and boneless. They do not enjoy red meat, seafood, or any other meat in their diet.

Poultrarian comes from the combination of poultry and vegetarian.

A poultrarian would never eat a steak, but would enjoy chicken stir-fry.

Anyone that has weird food aversions or quirks (especially “vegans” and all members of PETA) that are NEVER invited to any party or social function held at my house or any of my friends houses. Poultrarians always have a screw loose - or several - in their pointy little heads that also affects their behavior in other areas. Get the hell away from me.
