Mischievous, unpredicatable, contrary. Prone to teasing, silliness or pranks but not necessarily intentionally cruel in nature.

My friend in Georgia announced plans to dye my dog pink, then had the nerve to suggest it was unfair to call him "ornery."

Ornery-abled

Rather than disabled or handicapped which denote a lack of ability or a failure to meet manufacured ability standards this word speaks to the determination, resilience and creaivity many uniquely abled persons use.

Of course I will do this task, I am ornery-abled and will figure it out.
