Metalocolypse

Classic show from Adult Swim on cartoon network, based off of the death metal band Dethklok. You can expect to enjoy it if you like metal combined with dark comedy. It isn't like any other show on adult swim, it is very original. Watch it.

An eating competition at Fogo de Chao, where the first person to stop consuming meat has to pay for everyone else's meals.

Metaocalypse

The apocalypse, but new aged. Usually involving technology, Zombies, ninjas, pirates, or all/some of these components combined. Said to look beautiful and elegant if not part of it.

Random Onlooker: Holy shit! Its a horde of undead pirating ninja cyborgs!

Jesus: The Metaocalypse has begun...

Random Onlooker: It hurts so much, but looks so awesome!

Metapocalypse

A mediocre show by Brendon Small, largely anticipated because of his genius previous series, Home Movies. It has its funny moments, but it's clearly not as good.

Unimprovised, totally scripted, and completely based on the cornerstone of "Oh, I get it. It's a metal band. Cool!" Needless to say, adult swim's many drooling metalhead veiwers can't get enough of it.

Metapocalypse isn't as great as I had hoped. The characters Pickle and Murderface are pretty funny though.
