Indevious literally means NOT devious. The "in", as with insubstantial or ineffective, negates whatever it precedes. IN + DEVIOUS = NOT DEVIOUS.
The strategy of the aliens, although violent and cunning on the surface, was indevious, even genuine, in its desire to create a better world.

Indacious can mean any feeling/emotion to one thing. It can express emotion as in love, hate, happieness, confusion, ect. You must expess emotion or futhur explination to reveal the form of the word to other people.
That stupid teacher is so indacious that I just want to kick him in the face.
I'm so indaciously tired right now, I just want to lay down.
Wow, that new girl is very indacious!
