Eddie Ifft Syndrome

A disease that causes bouts of crippling insecurity. You're so insecure because your peers laugh at you behind your back and you know it. This leads you to think that EVERYONE in the world is taking a shot at you when it's just people in your own specific profession, e.g. other comedians.

Often you try to fight through the insecurity by bringing attention onto yourself and rambling on for twenty minutes without being funny, then when it doesn't go over you lash out at the nearest person, do a few pull-ups and cry yourself to sleep.

Phil: "The whole world hates me, I'm so sad"

Derek: "The whole world doesn't hate you, you've got Eddie Ifft Syndrome, you're just not as funny as you think you are"

iffating

When one gets into strange situations but still gets out alive. Also can be known as "pulling an Iffat". Iffating has also been recognized as doing things in a more stupid way. An example of this would be a way your mind thinks. For example, the proper way to get out of a tree when you're stuck is not to call for proper help but to jump and pray u don’t die. That would be a form of pulling an Iffat.

Kid #1: Hey man, I don't even know how it happened but I was doing laundry and somehow got stuck in the dryer. kid#2: Lol, I guess you pulled an Iffat
Kid #3: Yeah man, you were totally Iffating
