Hanahaki disease is a fictional sickness where a victim of unrequited love or one sided love will have a plant growing inside their lungs. Symptoms of said illness will result in said victim coughing up blood and flowers or flower petals. The disease can only be cured if the two form a mutual love or a two sided love or if said victim undergoes surgery to remove the plant.
