deshamify

To remove the shame from oneself or another person.

We are often socialized and shamed out of our full erotic and self expression. Deshamifying is an active intervention used to lower shame in oneself or another person. This term was created by Celeste Hirschman and Danielle Harel, co-founders of the Somatica Institute.
I used to be so ashamed of my desires and afraid of being "too much." Ever since my Somatica coach helped me deshamify my desires I'm so much more comfortable owning who I am and what I want!
