Cussing up a storm

Cussing up a storm is a metaphor .A metaphor is a figure of speech in which a word or phrase is applied to an object or action to which it is not literally applicable. In this case the person is basically using the statement to say that they are using a in excessive amount of fowl language.

I want nothing more than to settle scores you fucking whore, I'm cussing up a storm but these tear drops are vain warning ,cause your time will come ,I'm just brain storming.

Racist asshole Donald Trump called Africa a bunch of "shithole countries" so in order to quote him accurately TV news was forced into some beautiful chyron cussing.
