The right to copy. Mistaken by corporate fatasses as a way of preventing the sharing of material, especially material bought by someone else.
There goes the RIAA with its bullshit copyright laws. It's trying to say that I don't own all the music CDs I bought because it burned the songs onto them.

A copyright lasts about 70 years i thought, and Mickey Mouse and friends are older than 70 years. So now Disney does everything to extend their copyright.

Copyright is something used to mark the property of a creation to its creator. Generally, its symbol is a C in a circle. A Copyright cannot be broken or else legal sanctions apply to the person who broke the Copyright. On YouTube, breaking the copyright can get you a demonetization or a strike.

To claim as one's own. Big corporations normally do it so people don't steal their ideas. Then, as soon as somebody does in the slightest way, they jump on the opportunity and sue their ass for an unreasonable sum of money.

Just like "employees must watch hands," this is a group of words that nobody reads. It's just a friendly reminder that the guy who typed what's copywritten will shake his fist at you if he finds out you take credit for his work.
Jim: You can't take that, it's got a copyright!
Doug: Just watch me. (copies and pastes jim's work!)
Jim: Noooo! *shakes fist at Doug!*
Doug: My name is Doug!
Jim: *KABOOM*
Doug: that showed him.
