The ability to be able to write in the male or female gender, depending on who you are talking to via messaging or chat. Useful for messenger programs as well as social networking and internet dating sites, also good when phishing for a new cyber mate.

It’s where your friends with someone and you give them everything and then they talk bad about you behind your back and just use you for things

Person 1: omg can I borrow your phone for lunch please and do you have any snacks

Person 2: yeah here *gives phone and snacks*

Person 1:thanks *leaves and talks bitchtalk about “person 2” behind their back

Person 2:*after lunch goes and gets phone back* ok so you want it again tomorrow?

In New Zealand, where there are only two major mobile phone companies, to be bitextual is to own at least two phones, one for each company. The purpose of this is to take advantage of competing but complimentary deals.

The name comes from the common usage of text, or SMS, messaging in New Zealand.

I wanted to get Telecom's $10 texting, and Vodafone's free weekend texting. So I became bitextual.
