A sound that a fart makes. Also can be a verb as in "Dude I just wernted over there". Originated when our friend Matt farted in class and it sounded like weeeeerrrrrrnnnnnnttttt. We have used the word ever since.

Also known as werght, wer, wert, and many other possible spellings exist.

When he let one go in lit it sounded like wernt.
