Possibly a better term for the trendy hairstyle currently better known as The Hitler Youth Haircut. You can now name this hip, mid-century modern hairstyle with little offensiveness while still implying it's dodgy origins!

Wehrmacht was the name of the general conscripted armed forces of the fascist Germany. Not to be mistaken for the far more malevolent Waffen SS.

Guy 1: "Nice hair bro."

Guy with said hair: "Not too... Hitler youth?"

Guy 1: "Not at all, you could be in the Wehrmacht."

Guy with said hair: "Thank God, the SS are all biggoted wankers."

Wehrmacht

The Wehrmacht was the formal name for the combined armed forces of Nazi Germany. Outside of academic literature, the term is mostly used today by people who want to express their affinity for the fandom surrounding WWII armed fascism without committing to being actual Nazis themselves. These people often forget to capitalize the "w" even though it is a proper noun.

The Wehrmacht sure got its ass kicked by the Allies.
