The ick

A phenomenon overwhelmingly experienced by women where they are suddenly turned off. More often than not it is used by women who believe life is a romantic movie where they are the prize that deserves (and will find) an absolutely perfect person for them who they do not have to compromise with whatsoever as real relationships are built upon. In these cases it is usually some very small thing they dislike causing them to end the relationship.

Can also be used in cases of major incompatibilities by people who aren't delusional, but not as frequent. Most people do not use this phrase to describe their incompatibilities unless given good reason, as using this phrase in general is a bit gross and has been further ruined by some of the formerly mentioned people.

The Bitch Ick

A term for the uncomfortable feeling a guy gets when a girl says something that makes him realize she might not be a good match for him. It happens when she expresses views or attitudes that clash with his values or what he wants in a partner, like saying she hates kids or doesn't care if her child is gay or lesbian. It's like a sudden realization that she's not the right person for him, causing him to lose interest in her romantically.

"After she casually mentioned how she'd never want kids and wouldn't care if her son or daughter were gay, he felt the Bitch Ick settle in, realizing she wasn't the right fit for him."
