A condition in which a person fears not being able to update their facebook/myspace status at all hours of the day.

Guy 1: Did that bitch just update her status again?
Guy 2: Yeah she does it every 5 minutes I think she has statusphobia.

The act of being made uncomfortable or morally apprehensive at the idea of two people above and below the age of 18 having sex, as in statutory

Kevin: 99.9% of America has statuphobia
John: I don't think most of America is afraid of statues
Kevin: That's megalophobia and that's a whole separate issue

The practice of looking at data and drawing whatever conclusion you want from it, similar to astrology

"Hey, did you know that according to this study intelligent people tend to be more depressed?"

statusphere

The term for the group of celebrities living Hollywood or similarly famous places.

Really famous celebrities, e.g Morgan Freeman, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Paris Hilton, float on the top of the statusphere, where as people you've never heard of but who RULE Hollywood are above it and people who try to be famous are beneath the statusphere, like Paris Hiltons friend that no one actually knows, or Jordan and Peter Andre.

Statuspam

n. Status updates from one person posted in rapid succession, often with unimportant/repetitive information.

Use of word: "Dude! My news feed is flooded with statuspam! That guy posted 27 times in the last 3 minutes!"

Examples of statuspam: "John Smith is on facebook" later, "John Smith is talking to people on facebook" after a moment, "John Smith is going to stop talking to people on facebook now." etc.

Statuephobia

The fear and hostility towards Statues. Usually the result of a mental disorder or brainwashing and sufferes may have issues with knowing what period of time they are in. This phobia was just born after the uprising of President Donald Trump.

"I feel sorry for that liberal over there, he has Statuephobia ." Friend, "Yea that must suck."

Statstrology

Statstrology was originally coined by Greg Guevara in 2023. It is implicitly derived from the word "Astrology". It is used in reference to when a person interprets data and extracts dubious meaning from it, usually without solid/unironic basis or understanding of it (and/or the data itself is dubious). Essentially, looking at data and seeing what you want to see.

"Look, this guy just came to the conclusion that 85% of goats love carrot cake whilst observing the strong correlation between sea levels and how much money I have in my bank account. He must be really into Statstrology"
