A mixture of odours or fragrances

In an attempt to dissipate the nasty smells in the bathroom the window was opened. Wafts of freshly mown grass joined the unpleasant odours to create a rather curious smelange.

At breakfast I had freshly brewed coffee and kippers which made for a not entirely unpleasant smelange.
