a true skater is a person can be, female or male, who is fully deciated to skating. they dont skate to look cool or impress people, they do it for various reasons, maybe it lets out anger, or maybe they like the feeling of grinding shit up or flying or that feeling you get after you land a hard ass trick. all these posers fog up the true meaning of a true skater, they dont need the clothes,shoes,or anything else all they need is their skateboard and they are set for life. skateboarding isnt just a hobby, for true skaters, its a lifestyle.

Tranny Skater

A tranny skater is a skateboarder who only skates transition. This is a term commonly used in skateboarding vernacular to describe people who prefer to only skate half pipes, quarter pipes, mini ramps..etc.

'Why don't we see Tony Hawk doing handrails or tricks down stairs and skating in the streets?'

'He's a tranny skater, he doesn't skate Street at least not that much anymore; he had a moment though!'

Tik tok skater

A Tik Tok skater probably doesn’t know any tricks. They also likely wear strictly checkered vans and listen to Clairo. Tik tok skaters ride long boards more often then boards for tricks. Tik tok skater boys are a different breed. Tik tok skaters make all the girls 🤰

True Skater

A true skater is someone who's life is all about skating. Whether it be for a sponsorship, or just for fun. He/she will be outside every possible day just to practice more. No matter what happens, they will get right back up on the board and try again. They may come back to their home to find out they have 20 scars. Then wake up the next day and just go skate again. Nothing will ever change their mind about skating. Their heart is set on getting on that board and throwing down some tricks off of a set, or whatever they like to skate. They will do anything just to have a board and skate. They will most likely continue skating their entire life too. Either film for a skate team, or be on the skate team. Nothing will bring skating out of their life.

Kyle: He's up here every day skatin.
Anthony: That's cuz he's a true skater.
