Skatemorphia

The definition of a derby skater who is unclear on her "real" skating abilities. Skater is delusional and often times perceives she is much better than the reality of the situation.

Poor girl has no idea that she sucks and has alot to learn, its a clear case of skatemorphia.

Skankcore

A heavy metal sub-genre that is a combination of ska music and hardcore music. Heavy metal with trumpets and the recognizable ska rhythm in the guitar and drums. Ninjaspy, a band from Vancouver, is a perfect example.

(Also referred to as "sketal")

Dude, so I was playing Skate or Die on my old nintendo, when suddenly Vince, that poser skater came in, and he was like all trippin' on shrooms and pulled a blade on me. So, he like handed me his board, and I had to think fast, so I was like "what would SkateorDie do?" So then I threw this awesome 180 spin kick, and like totally knocked the sucka out cold.

Skacore

A 'buzz' word for a new(ish) mutation of ska, punk, hardcore, ragge, hip-hop and metal. Almost all Skacore bands come from Britain and include bands such as Capdown, Lightyear, Martin and Sonic Boom Six.

safecore

Safecore is a relatively new term, most commonly used as a pejorative word to describe the sound of metal artists who frequently abuse breakdowns, electronic synthesizers, and heavily-modified singing to accompany screamed vocals which are typically easier to understand than more "brutal" techniques. Safecore bands tend to follow fashion trends and design trends, such as using a catchy typographical lyric video in their uploads, or branding the current popular logo style on their albums. Safecore bands are normally frowned upon by the majority of other metalheads.

A word invented by the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, to descibe themselves.

Bands of the Genre are: MMB, Choking Victim(Not Leftover Crack), Catch 22, Big D(some).

Skacore is not to be confused with ska/punk or punk/ska.

The bosstones are Skacore.
