If your wondering WHERE I've even heard of these, check Duolingo's RECENT reviews. Apparently, they said that the "Daboys" are better on Tiktok. Then some people who claim to be "Floptropicans" are gobsmacked by their choice. And the earliest I can find is from 2 days ago.
So I went to ask Chrome... what are they? They yield somewhat related results. Then I decided to come to here to figure out why is it trending. And as soon I searched for "Floptropica," I've gotten some of them saying that the leader of it is a name of "Jiafei." And that devolved into them saying "buy product or get kidnapped," which I think is a threat. So if you got any evidence as to why, please let me know. I just found this out recently so apologizes if it is very long to read.

Floptropica (officially the republic of floptropica) is a country in the pacific thats nearly double the size of the US. its capital city (C.V.M) is nearly 2 times bigger than the greater tokyo area , floptropica is a mostly tropical country filled whit white beaches and lagoons , it borders no other countrys despite a 8km border on the disputed island of jiafei, floptropica is one of the safest countrys to live in

A fictional nation created by Floptok, a TikTok community.
It is located on a fictional island called Flop Island, which is said to be located in the south of Chile and costs $35,000,000. It is a tropical country (even though it is located in the south of Patagonia region which is not tropical at all.)
It has no capital city but it's largest city is Jilu. It is split into 9 states; Cupcakkea, Jiafeia, Nickicity, Cvmberty Island (part of Jiafeia), C.V.M (Contour Vast Minajland) and New Barbados.
It has a population of 1,058,429 people and is ethnically and religiously diverse. Some of its inhabitants are Deborah Ali-Williams (the president of Floptropica), CupcakKe, Jiafei, Nicki Minaj and Lovely Peaches, all of whom are Floptok icons/characters.
This country was once at war with so-called Da Boyz, and it's called the Badussy War.
