Stands for Fuck The Regiment. Referring to the regiment of cadets at Suny Maritime College in Throggs Neck New York.
FTR is often used to express the hatred, disappointment and boredom felt by most if not all of the cadets. FTR is often used in the company of statements referring to Commander Hugs and Kisses, Captain Haircut and Lieutenant Love-Handles
