BULEXIT
noun | late-stage socio-neurological disorder
A post-Eurozone panic syndrome in which a Bulgarian insists the country must immediately exit the Eurozone, usually shouted with absolute certainty and zero comprehension of consequences.
Epidemiology:
Most commonly observed among:
– retirees with unlimited free time and unlimited opinions
– functional alcoholics with a strong relationship to “one last drink”
– taxi drivers who possess intimate knowledge of geopolitics, macroeconomics, and “what they’re not telling you”
Transmission vectors:
– Taxi rides longer than 10 minutes
– Morning rakia + Facebook comments
– YouTube videos with titles written in ALL CAPS
Typical behavior:
– Loudly explaining complex monetary policy to strangers
– Claiming “everyone knows” while citing no one
– Using personal inconvenience as economic evidence
– Ending every argument with “you’ll see”
Cognitive markers:
– Inability to explain what happens after BULEXIT
– Strong emotional attachment to coins
– Belief that prices rise out of spite
Prognosis:
Permanent. Patient remains highly vocal but completely resistant to data, timelines, or reality. Condition worsens in taxis, supermarkets, and election seasons.

“The taxi driver was diagnosed with BULEXIT - halfway through the ride he said the euro ruined everything. He couldn’t name one thing.”
