Best Friend +

A Best Friend + is someone who you consider to be one of the most trustworthy individuals you know. You feel that the bond you share is greater than anything else you know. The Best Friend + can be male on male, or female on female, but is generally and almost exclusively male on female.

Similar to "friends with benefits" the Best Friend + can and usually will incorporate some level of sexual emotion and intimacy. However, unlike "friends with benefits" sexual intercourse will not be had. If Best Friends + engage in sexual intercourse, they will no longer be referred to as Best Friends +, but rather as "friends with benefits" or "fuck buddies"

Guy 1: "Hey man"
Guy 2: "Hey bro"
Guy 1: "What did you get up to last night?"
Guy 2: "I was making out with Amanda.."
Guy 1: "And?"
Guy 2: "And then we started massaging each other, things got a little heated"
Guy 1: "You are totally fuck buddies"
Guy 2: "Nah man, we are just Best Friend +"

Friends with benefits

A term commonly used by men to appease women so they can get in their pants. Very rarely lasts and usually friendship part doesn't happen. Usually ends with one falling for the other then broken hearted when the other doesnt reciprocate. They then never speak again.

He says we are friends with benefits but we never hang out as friends and he only talks to me when he wants to fuck.
