A term that is used for a girl who is not in a relationship. This is often a nice girl who seems to flirt with various guys at a party, she is not a slut, but she does not have a boyfriend either.

That girl is too much a free bird for relationship.

She was flirting with me because she is a free bird.

That is such bullshit, she was trying to get guys to hit on her because she is a shitty face free bird!
