top surgery

Surgery that alters the size of the chest for gender-affirming purposes. While this can be used for procedures that either reduce or increase breast tissue, it more commonly refers to FTM/FTN procedures. In this case, a commonly desired result is to have a more masculine-appearing chest. There are several forms of surgery that can achieve this. You do not have to be a specific gender to have top surgery.
