An ancient word used in 2014 that was supposed to be a greater 'lol'. Unfortunately, this was not the case, and 'XD' is just a sign, that the person who said it, most likely plays Roblox. For those of you that want a little explanation of 2014, just think of it as the days when people put 'lol' in all caps and separation of the letters by using periods and when people actually used punctuation. Pretty ancient right? So just a side note, if you want a date (that is not in Roblox) I suggest you stop saying 'XD' this instant.

2014:
Person 1: Dude, how does the ocean feel right now?
Person 2: Oh geez, that's a hard one. I give up.
Person 1: Salty, because nobody waves back! XD!
Person 2: Ohhh! XD!

2017:
Person 1: How is the ocean feeling rn
Person 2: idk bitch just tell me
Person 1: Salty bc no one wavin back
Person 2: o XD
