Cheerleading

Although many may argue this, it IS a sport. There are actual competitions for it and, in my opinion, some of the things they do are very difficult. It is a combination of dancing, tumbling, stunting, and, of course, cheering. Many cheerleaders don't actually enjoy having to cheer at football and basketball games, and are only on the squad for the competitions. At competitions, hundreds of squads perform 3 minute routines that include the 4 staples of cheer (listed above) and work for months on perfecting what they do, just like any other sports team. Cheerleading is definitely a misunderstood sport.

Girl 1: PLEASE, cheerleading isn't hard. It's a bunch of stupid sluts jumping around shouting.
Girl 2: Oh really? You have to have a standing back tuck just to get on the squad, you have practice almost every day, you have to keep your grade above a C average, and they are able to throw people in the air and not get hurt.
Girl 1: Yeah...but still....whatever.

Cheerleaders

The Majority is Stereotypically bitchy, snotty, egotistical, vain, thinks the world revolves around them, thinks they are the sh!t as many of you clearly stated, simply enjoys making fun of outcasts such as nerds, loners, and other different groups of people that are outside of their preppy ass realm.

Uncommonly down to earth, very nice, friendly, loves to cheer, lots of energy. and many other characteristics that most people wouldn't expect

if you watch movies like "Bring it On", "The Hot Chick" and other stupid retarded movies that Hollywood loves to create all these stereotypes then pretty much you will see the common stereotype of cheerleaders.

from personal experience as a loner/nerd there are some that are nice, while others the "elites" are unfortunately the ones that are pretty much the "B with an Itches"

and we "nerds" can party too. without us you people wouldn't have all this great high-tech shit that we now have today, so at least give us some respect and appreciation thank you very much.

Cheerleader

A sport that most boys aren't tough enough to handle. It's HARD lifting people in the air, and no, its not just four feet. When those people fall on you it HURTS. In competitive cheer leading, in round 3, doing a 3 minute routine CONSTANTLY lifting these people in the air isnt easy, especially when you consider all of the different types of stunts there are. Round 2 is all gymnastics, so i dont know what some people are talking about when they say "cheerleading is jsut wanna-be gymnasts". I bet half the people reading this can't even do a cartwheel. yea, thats what i thought. and the fact that all we do is yell and prance around like a bunch of hoes? have you ever tried to yell, as loud as you can while lifting people in the air and doing back flips and stretching your body in ways it was never meant to go? didn't think so. and the coaches. OMG the coaches. if you think your coach is bad, you've never heard a cheer coach the day before a competition, and believe me, you don't want to. and if you think that we dont work as hard as the football team think again. one time i had to do OVER 1000 ab exercises....with out stopping. don't tell me cheerleading isn't a sport, because if you've never done it, you have NO IDEA what you're talking about.

Look at those awesome cheerleaders that are waaayyyyy better than the football team.

Slutty, bitchy, self centered, snobby, flat-assed bitches who think they are better than everyone else and date the "hottest guy" who is high on "the popularity scale". dey alzo tlk lyk diz on da internetz cuz dey think itz hotz nD dIs 2. They wear tight shirts, mini skirts, tight pants okay pretty much anything that reveals there flat chest and dry pussys. They listen to "punk-pop" such as GC and Simple Plan and think they are hardcore. They also over use "like" and "omg" and "totally".

Cheerleading

a sport..ha, any activity that involves putting makeup on before hand could no way be considered a sport. cheerleading is completely based upon looks. You basically have to flirt to your fans/judges to be considered a good team. There can't be two sports playing on the same court, at the same time right? Even competitive cheerleading is a joke. Whoever gets the judges the most sexually aroused wins ƒº congratulations girls. Cheerleaders are primarily used to keep people watching happy by shaking their little butts. Note: strippers do the same thing, but their at least smart enough to get paid for it. Even my girlfriend cheers for college, and she said that you have to send a picture to the coach to try out. I have nothing against cheerleaders, that¡¦s why i love watching football. whom ever thought of the whole arrangement should get some kind of reward. I watch a competitive sport, while little gitty girls prance around in their little skirts while i drink my nice cold brewsky. THE AMERICAN DREAM. You girls say how hard cheering is...its like how Models complain how hard their life is, the lack of eating, exercise, and hard positioning. From the beginning, girls join cheering to impress guys. It¡¦s a chance for girls to degrade themselves to people like me. You people say cheerleaders LEAD the fans? You know that mascots do that too right, so good job girls you degraded yourselves down to a little man in a fluffy animal outfit.
