In hypocritical contrast to the Blue Lives Matter slogan espoused by MAGA supporters as a means of silencing Black Lives Matter, mobs were recorded swarming and assaulting Capitol Police officers trying to contain them from reaching the Senate Floor.
The term is used to describe how visually similar the insurrection was to a typical zombie apocalypse scenario, where a mindless horde of Trump supporters shambling on the streets was trying to get to survivors that had barricaded and hidden themselves inside a building- in this case the U.S. Capitol.
