The series consisted of 10 episodes, 9 of which star the main 9 playable characters and a 10th joke episode about the Heavy Weapons Guy's secondary weapon, the Sandvich (which is really just a sandwich, that in-game, restores 300 health for the Heavy and acts as a Medium Health Kit when given out to players). The series has helped Valve with developing the game's technology. Meet the Heavy, the first entry of Meet the Team, helped Valve test facial animations for more expressions for the characters in-game.
