im amazed at how the author of this definition spends his/her time slating other peoples defititions (or lack of), only to offer their OPINION on this band (who no-one has heard of) as a FACT.

A term one says as they’re about to either give valid reasoning for something (often with a bit of sass) or spew absolute bullshit

Ex. A: “Here’s the thing; if you’re really trying to lose weight, you should probably avoid eating fast food every other day”

Ex. B; “Here’s the thing; you can’t be related to a WWII vet because the Holocaust didn’t even happen”
