Get the Snagmug. Australian slang for ‘sausage’. Also short for ‘snag sanga’ or ‘sausage sandwich’, a sausage served on a single piece of bread, often sold outside large stores, such as Bunnings, during weekend events called ‘sausage sizzles’.

Get the snagmug. 1. v. To acquire a date to a given function (such as homecoming or prom) before she is taken by someone else. Snagging implies beating the rush, as in "the early bird gets the worm." A girl who is in high demand to be a date may be asked very early in the "asking season" associated with the function, or even before it begins if the asker wishes to get the jump on his competition.
