Though it has been given a new meaning in recent years, the word's original usage was to utter the word while dousing something in acid.

The word "Yeet" is originated from Jeremy Clarkson where he used it in the documentary "The Most Outrageous Jeremy Clarkson Video In The World... Ever!" while pouring acid on a Porsche 911 in 1998.

Back in 1998, a man, also known as the Top Gear-orangutan first used the expression: "yeet."
