Eclosing Hour

When one wakes up and has their coffee (or morning beverage) in silence. No one talks and one is allowed to sort out their thoughts and lift their brian fog. It’s like cocktail hour, but socializing is taboo.
Acceptable communication: “Coffee?,” “Morning,” a head nod, and a hand wave.

Other names: Personal Percolation Process, Cup of Silence, and The Morning Mug.

After Eclosing Hour breakfast will be served.

Country Hour

A time of night when everyone has had one too many drinks and the mood shifts to country. The remainder of the people at the party started singing and dancing to country music for the final part of the party.

It is finally country hour, I have been waiting all night for it.

Blinking Hour

Blinking Hour refers to the late-night stretch when traffic lights switch into their blinking cycle, red and yellow pulsing through empty intersections. It’s more than a technical mode; it marks the quiet span of night when most of the world has gone still, streets empty, conversations softened, and the city seems to breathe in slow motion.

I was outside during the Blinking Hour and it felt like I was the only person in the world.
