Moshers

Now the word mosher seem to have become a person who isnt a chav, as all little shit head chavs like to call everyone who isnt a chav a fucking mosher.
A real mosher is someone who goes down into the mosh pits at gigs ect. as this is were the word orinates from. Moshers dont have to wear a certain type of clothes and dont have to listen to a certain type of music. But they are usally into rock/metal and have ultertive life styles clothes and ways of thinking.

mosh pit

The area near the front of the stage at punk rock and metal concerts where fans will run into each other continously. This is also known as slamdancing. It is not uncommon for people to shove their friends into the pit. Normally, the pit isn't very dangerous, and most will follow the rules of a friendly pit. For example, if someone falls down in the pit, the other moshers are expected to pick them up and get them out of harms way.

There are also variatons on the mosh pit, including circle pits, and the wall of death.

If you go to a punk show, there's going to be a mosh pit there.

mosher's neck

The painful aching of the neck muscles after moshing, jumping around, headbanging and generally acting stupid at a metal/punk show.
Symptoms are a dull ache, head flopping forwards, and difficulty moving the head from side to side.
Can last anything from a day to a week.

Greg: Dude, what's up with you? Why can't you move your neck?

Jeb: Man, I did some serious...aahhhh...moshing at that show last night. I've got a bad......argh....case of mosher's neck.

Greg: Oh, right.

A word defining an individual, slightly ironic I know. Chavs will try to use this as an insult, but in the long run won't insult anyone.

This could also mean someone who moshes.

Mosha: *ignoring chav because he/she has better things to do with their time than insult someone over what they wear*

most people think moshers are mainly boys,but hell no.
