1. n. a synonym for "windows classic" theme in any windows since 95. a ho hum gray color for everything, not exciting, but takes no processor power to print. which is why it still exists.

2. n. name of the color used in the windows classic theme. on the RBG scale it is #DDDDDD.

1. WPF instructor: Now you see by just changing this value we take the application out of the old battleship gray and in to the more exciting windows aero.
