The term is based on the character Panam in Cyberpunk 2077. Her Panam effect was falling into a deep loving relationship with you during her story, but her ai afterwards becomes shallow to a point it acts like she completely forgotten.

You can name every person you graduate with because there aren't very many names to remember in the first place and again you ARE related to many of them. Most people never move away cause you get stuck in the black hole of panama where cows are found every few miles and half the boys smell like cow dung.
