A character created by the Japanese game developer Team ASOBI, first appearing in the 2016 title "Playroom VR" before making his debut in "Astro Bot Rescue Mission" in 2018.
As of 2023, he is used as the de-facto mascot for PlayStation and especially the PS5 and PSVR systems, to which he is native to, appearing in PSVR promotional material and even on Sony Japan's "CurioStep" education initiative. You can also find him on the PlayStation 404 page in every country (sans Japan).
His most recent game, "Astro's Playroom" is dedicated towards the history of PlayStation, with references to past games, hardware and even ideation of the console scattered in every nook and cranny of the platformer, giving most of its players glowing impressions. Get the Astro Botmug. Astro Time is the time after 3 am in the morning, when no braincells are working anymore, so you basically talk garbage and go on autopilot. After Astro Time started you can't be held accountable for anything you say or do anymore, because you are literally becoming a dolphin and being only half conscious.
After 3 am there has to be sleeping time, which has to last about at least 10 hours. If it doesn't last 10 hours, that makes the next period of Astro Time start sooner. Let's do some maths, shall we?
E.g. If you sleep only 8 Hours, that makes Astro time start at 1 am approx.
This only applies to people who have the Name Astro or who are approved by someone who has the Name Astro or who are rewarded with the diagnosis of 'Astro Time Experiencer' by the High council of Long Furbies and Peepys under the birth sign of someone named Astro or with a Kokichi wooden (important) cutout in your room, witnessing you having the ritualistic seance for it.

Get the Sir Astromug. You notice that teams that haven't been losing against the Yankees much that year get investigated, but when was the last time anybody investigated the Yankees? LA is the same way, other teams either go along with the LA teams program or theres an investigation.
The Houston Astros and the Red Sox, teams that had been giving the Yankees trouble in the past few years are the teams that got investigated it turns out, which seems to be what happens when the Yankees don't win a title that year. The same time winning every year isnt interesting, some people root for the team that's going to keep a season interesting over impressive stats and a winning record. Some people root for the team that never wins because they're everything the Yankees are not, that doesnt mean they're okay with their team losing.
