A douche-bag who thinks he's intellectually superior to everyone else, but only possesses enough neural connections to point out simple grammatical or syntax errors that nobody cares about. Usually someone who didn't pay enough attention in grade school and thought they were God's gift to everyone else, but may have picked up a grammar rule or two on accident.

Those who troll internet message boards to serve no other purpose than to correct grammar, misspellings, or typos of others. This is usually done by those who have too much time on their hands, or are lacking self-confidence in the real world and are trying to make up for it by an inflated sense of self-importance online.

A person who criticizes someone else's grammar, spelling, and/or punctuation, usually in an online setting. While they are often seen as uptight assholes who really need to get a life, it should be noted that they point out simple flaws that often show a lack of intelligence on the part of the person being criticized.
