A phrase a person uses when they’re so incredibly cold, it almost hurts, as if they’ve been hit with a bag of bricks.

A common phrase used in areas where the winters are absolutely brutal.
Example 1:

(Walks outside and literally screams)

AAAAAH! OMG, it’s brick out here!

Example 2:

FRIEND: Make sure you put that extra layer on and dress warm. Wouldn’t want you getting sick because it’s so damn cold outside.

RESPONSE: You ain’t never lied! It’s brick out!!!

In Chicago the Transit service is name Pace when I was living there we used to make that joke when taking that bus and saying bye insted of saying the classic Peace out, we said "Pace out" being that we where on a Pace bus
