She calls you her Bhondu and smh you start smiling without realizing. Even on tough days, she'd giggle, and u were lucky enough to hear it. Her voice? Playful and warm. You start missing it before the call even ends.
Her moods shift. Soft one day, emotional the next, sometimes quiet, sometimes full of heart. U never pick a favorite, just love all of them. None made you love her less.
If youre special to her, she might break her own rules. “I wont talk during exams,” then calls anyway as if u are not a distraction, but her peace. (Though she’s the one who brings peace to you.) With her, its deep talk one min, total randomness the next. And it just works. You click, in that quiet, comforting way that doesnt need explaining.
She called you late at night sometimes, but once it lasted till 3:35 a.m. That one stayed, not just for what was said, but because you were trusted with something rare.
Her photo. Red Indian wear, jhumka, tiny bindi, Holi colors, and that beautiful look in her eyes. You saw and you melted. Still do.
She doubts your words sometimes, wonders if you’ve said them to someone else. So you remind her again, its only her.
If she disappears, you dont panic. But you do worry, and you still text.
You miss her like your favorite moon, still out there, just not close enough to touch. If she ever returns, even just needing someone, you hope she knows..
