A variation of bro, used mainly by women to remind men that they deserve the respect of being perceived as a non-sexual equal being. To basically remind a man how he would treat you if you were his friend, playing on his deep fears of homosexuality to break the gender/predator/prey paradigm.

"Aaaaand that's fucking creepy, Bruh."
And he usually responds suprised and backs off on the creepy pick-up factor.
