The way a politician holds their hand in a first with their thumb used as the pointer, because focus groups said that using a finger was too aggressive.
Originally pioneered by Barack Obama, and used by most politicians since then who don't want to be seen as overly aggressive.

Similar to the "Old Fashioned Thumb Around" (going up to someone with open arms as if to give a hug but then quickly inserting your dominant thumb inside their asshole after you wrap your arms around them), but instead using both thumbs.

rotating the wrist with hand out straight so that the side of the tumb bangs on a desk. In a thumb thumb this is done twice in succession. This is used by teens taking their exams to signal to others around them they are finished and bored. This usually recquires another thumb thumb as a ressponse to show that it is understood and that the second person is also finished and bored.
