The effect that happens when the particularly obnoxious fanbase of a video game lowers your opinion of the game itself. It is important to remember that a horrible fanbase does not necessarily make a bad game.
"I don't know man, I'm seriously getting sick of hearing about Skyrim. Do I even want to bother with a game that only meme-spewing idiots seem to enjoy?"
"Don't bash the game itself until you play it- you're getting the FF7 effect, dude."

The Jordy Effect takes place in situations where someone is lying to you about watching Netflix, his or her brother screams from the other side of the house saying that they are lying. This creates an abundance of emotions bottled up in you such as embarrassment and anger.
Kid 1: Do you have Netflix?
Kid 2: No I don't, i wish i did though.
Jordie: Yes you do you were watching Money Heist last night!
Kid: *Embarrased* that must be The Jordie Effect!

(Noun) - the process of elaborate, underhanded, yet whimsical deceit of an unwitting stranger, usually emphasizing the use of telecommunication devices and web-based social networking forums and/or media platforms. The Sandy Effect cannot be borne through malicious intent, only through the serendipitous collision of an unsuspecting victim and an unsuspecting "Sandy."
Person 1: Did you hear about Stacey? She wasted the whole week texting some random guy who she thought was her TA.
Person 2: Oh snap, no way! Another victim of "The Sandy Effect"...

The act of fast paced and rapid anal pleasure, then a sudden removal of the penis (or other tool) from the anus. The outcomes are usually rather spectacular, as shit literally hits the fan (and everything else in its path).
Usually best enjoyed with 2 or more people.

Frank: Hey man, I heard your wife let you try anal with her the other night. How'd it go?
Dave: I pulled out too fast, and shit went flying everywhere, last time I try that..
Frank: aahh, the Plunger Effect
